Microsoft to host its 1st 'Education Days' in India to boost Innovation

In major push for creative innovation and exchange of ideas to transform the focus of education on artificial intelligence (AI), Microsoft India is set to host the first “Education Days 2018” here.



The two-day event starting Tuesday in this Haryana city will bring together students, over 220 educators and Microsoft partners under one roof to showcase their work and innovation.

It would become a bridge which will motivate and help them to exchange their ideas and information to revamp the educational landscape through technology and innovation.

Interactive sessions will be organized by Microsoft Innovative Educators; an Education Transformation Framework (ETF) workshop is designed for policy makers and education leaders to help education leadership and school principals transform education in their institutions.

Microsoft is one of World’s biggest multinational companies in the field of software’s, computers and technology. Microsoft was founded on April 4, 1975, by Bill Gates and Paul Allen in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Microsoft best-selling software products is Microsoft Windows operating system, Microsoft Office suite of productivity software, Xbox, a line of entertainment of games, music and video, and Bing, a line of search engines and social media.

It will also hold an educators’ exhibition on innovation, where 120 teachers from across India will showcase innovative work executed in their schools focusing on AI, gamification, personalisation, localisation and collaboration.
